Superbowl Extra Large!
Pretty crazy weekend, if I do say so myself. Friday night (very late) some of the guys and I went out and saw "The Producers." It was hilarious! Kind of a little edgy for me, but still very good. How Domer fell asleep, I'll never know! Good times. MattE is a psycho driver, not to mention the stunts he pulled at trio rehearsal, haha! Saturday morning, the Brass Choir got a I on "Trumpet Tune and Air," the Brass Quintet got a II on "Bugler's Holiday," (so much fun to play!) the Horn Quartet got a I, I got a I on my solo, and the Trumpet Trio got a I!
Then I had to drive back to school at midnight to clean up after the Fish Fry, which wasn't so bad except that I had a constant headache. MattE's driving nightmare was kind of scary though... he was speeding, pulled the e-brake for effect and went over a median (almost hitting a lot of stuff) eventually hitting the curb and breaking one of his hubcaps.
So Sunday evening the Minges had a Superbowl party (as she's not our teacher right now, haha! ...and for the seniors never will be again.), which, of course, the best parts are the commercials and my friends, which I made a list of and will reminisce about some other time. My favorite, however, is still from last year, when FedEx(?) had the "Top 10 things in funny superbowl commercials" all in one commercial. Definitely my favorite. If anyone else remembers that, help me remember anything about it!
