umm

well practice got me completely down in the dumps today. We started 10 minutes early, finished ten minutes late, no one would actually work, my back spasmed a few times, the first break was after 1.5 hours of practice, and when we marched beck in people tried to go from singles to two lines. Running randomly. That is one of my number one marching band pet peeves.

And although I'm... depressed...I'm also inspired to do something somewhat irrational, such as do winterguard instead of winter percussion. That would SOOOO piss off Sou though. Or just quit band. Because there is a serious lack of fun.

But mostly I'm inspired to get my friends together and do these two things:
1) start a band. with a lot of people. and a lot of instruments. So there would be singing and awesome instruments like trumpets and french horns. LIKE CHICAGO!! w00t!
2) Make a movie. I wrote a script for a movie 2 or 4 years ago, but it's very innocent. So maybe I could start with that and work from there.

OH btw, I want to get a videocamera and editing software for christmas so I can actually make the movie. w00t! see ya'lls lata.

As you could probably tell this is cayman. First you should not quit band, that would be letting the directors win, and second you should have fun behind the directors backs (i.e nookball!!). As to the movie I cannot say, but if it is as funny as the winter percussion horror movie a few years ago then by all means make it so. Keep the faith, and always remember that one day when you get to college, marching band is actually fun (if you dont mind lots and lots of cursing . . .)
