1. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times.
Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, probably Duck Soup, Cocoanuts, A Night in Casablanca, too. The Little Mermaid.
2. Name a movie that you've seen multiple times in the theater.
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (three times), Iron Man (twice), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (three times... so far)
3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie.
Dan Aykroyd, Christian Bale, Hugh Laurie, Hugh Jackman, DICK VAN DYKE!, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman (basically any actor/actress who is badass and/or awesome)
4. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie.
TOBEY MAGUIRE.
5. Name a movie that you can and do quote from.
Any movie with Indiana Jones; Austin Powers (somehow worked itself into my everyday vocabulary); Marx Bros. movies; Airplane!; Shrek; Bond movies; Monty Python and the Holy Grail; George of the Jungle... pretty much any quotable movie gets quoted.
6. Name a movie musical that you know all of the lyrics to all of the songs.
Little Shop of Horrors. (I also know all the Broadway lyrics, because the songs are different, WOO)
7. Name a movie that you have been known to sing along with.
Little Mermaid, Cocoanuts, Little Shop, pretty much anything where I know the song.
8. Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see.
Raiders of the Lost Ark because IT'S MY FAV'RITE, Little Shop because it's awesomely cheesy, the old Hitchhiker's Guide because it's AMAZING (and yes I know it was a BBC miniseries but they edited together nicely on video so it's basically just a very long movie), V for Vendetta because of 1812 Overture, the Seven Faces of Dr. Lao.
9. Name a movie that you own.
The Seven Faces of Dr. Lao (<3!)
10. Name an actor that launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting skills.
STAN LEE IS LOVE (honestly I can't come up with anything else, I tend to hate that sort of thing)
11. Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in? If so, what?
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (loooong ago), Pirates of the Caribbean III
12. Ever made out in a movie?
I am laughing too hard to answer.
13. Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven't yet got around to it.
Ummm... Shaun of the Dead, Bladerunner. There are a lot but I always forget the titles.
14. Ever walked out of a movie?
No, they're too expensive. Plus I'm easy to please. That being said, I turned off The Graduate because it was kind of too creepy.
15. Name a movie that made you cry in the theater.
The Passion of the Christ (Y HALO YES CATHOLIC GUILT). Almost cried in Indy IV.
16. Popcorn?
DELICIOUS CRACK. Why the hell have I been getting mostly kernel-y crap lately though? I sneak in my own candy/drinks though.
17. How often do you go to the movies (as opposed to renting them or watching them at home)?
More as of late because it's the general "let's hang out" plan, but that's really starting to piss me off because you don't do any actual hanging out. Good thing is Pat and Lara do rental nights which are awesome (minus I am in Academy Film overload)
18. What's the last movie you saw in the theater?
In time-reverse order: Indy IV, Indy IV, Indy IV, Iron Man, Iron Man, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day.
19. What's your favorite/preferred genre of movie?
Anything with a good story and not horror. (Suspense =/= horror.)
20. What's the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?
Ummmm wow. An Astaire and Rogers movie at the Neon? But I'm pretty sure I'd seen movies before that.
21. What movie do you wish you had never seen?
...I have no idea. Probably some lame chick flick tops the list. OR National Treasure 2 omg what a waste of a good premise.
22. What is the weirdest movie you enjoyed?
Ummm Baraka? Other than that there are a lot. My family has a weird sense of humor, and a more than healthy dose of cynicism.
23. What is the scariest movie you've seen?
The Ring, maybe? I don't do horror. Psycho is pretty freaking awesome.
24. What is the funniest movie you've seen?
George of the Jungle, A Night in Casablanca, or Austin Powers. Hitchhiker's Guide is wonderful British humor, but the books are better. =P
BONUS DIANE TRIVIA: I laugh at things in movies that most people don't. Yep, I am the person who cracks up randomly, sometimes at the most inappropriate times (see: Will Ferrel's last serious movie, the one about the fiction novelist and her character).
