(Title is what I said about the chorus line for the musical in their bright outfits the other night.)
Practices are going well, except for the fact that many of our leads have lost their voices or (theory, here, folks) they have a cold and can't hear themselves right and are out of tune just the slightest. Gah. So-dancing in the pit is fun. Oh yes, we do all the tacky dances from the sixties. Then we join in and dance better then half of the guys (yes, the MALES) who don't give a scratch. Ah, the motorcycle is awesome, and I did find it funny when Walker rode in on it, missed the brakes, and went sliding accross the stage. One of the best things about being in the pit is dumb stuff like Sou and Chris and Westy sitting there chanting "Step, bom, step, bom bom, batabarre (?), kick, ball, turn." Lots of good times for band. I can't wait to see who comes to the musical!

Walker, adjusting his costume: "She's changing."
Everyone: laughs
Rachel walks out: "What?"

Chris last night at practice: "So, is Ellie Greenwich a real person?"
Me: *facepalm* Note that SOME of our songs include Da Doo Ron Ron, Leader of the Pack, Be my Baby, Hanky Panky, Doo Wah Ditty, AND OTHERS! HOW, ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH, CAN YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD AT LEAST ONE OF THESE SONGS?!
Anyway...
I'm so excited and running on 2 and a half hours of sleep, and adrenaline. Weeee!
BONUS: I got a really high score on an essay for Mr. Hemmert that I thought was one of the worst and most BSed things I've ever written. It just goes to show you!
So, Hitchhikers Guide comes out TOMORROW! I thought I still had a month! We have to plan something! (Check out the icon!)
