went to the pound yesterday...2 cats came home with us! ( i don't know how my dad reacted...he's never wanted two, but when i asked him later, he just kind of shrugged.) I miss Fuzzy, and Tippy too, since she was only four. Now we have two male kittens:
Spats (i named him):mostly black, a little white inverted triangle on his upper chest, a w shape on his stomach; white toes (there's not enough to be white feet, so it looks like he's wearing black spats over white shoes...now guess where he got his name...=^n.n^=). 3 months old, tiny, active, loves to crawl, and sit on your shoulder.
Jack (Laura named him): orangeish stripeyish...i forget what you call it. he has marks on his face that make it look like he's smiling when he squints his eyes. 5 months, larger kitten, also active, but likes to curl up and just sit for periods of 10 minutes or so.
So far they've probably spent the most time in the basement; they're getting into anything, eating all the plants, even the tree...trying to sharpen their nails on the carpet...oh, they're so gosh-darned cute.
The party last night was...um...interesting. I got there at four. Domer told me that it was at his neighbor's house across the street and, after Alicia came, no one would be there until 5:30, and then we'd go caroling. So Alicia and I went home and got a whole bunch of Christmas cds that I'd forgotten, and the lyrics to the Very Christmas Polka i wrote. We went caroling for a short time, because it was cold. All in all, i think we sang to five houses; one lady shut the door in our face, one man opened the door while not wearing a shirt, and one old lady we sang three carols for, and she seemed really lonely. =^u.u^=
We got back, played pictionary, and I got hot-chocolate spilled on my new shirt. Lovely. Hoping the stain comes out. Merf....Alicia and I dominate at pictionary...lol....
Man, I'm so lazy, I don't want to do anything...likely I'll post again later.
