This is an open letter for everyone who's frustrated by the fact that I'm having too much fun with the new Indiana Jones movie.

This goes out to everyone who's trying to convince me that Indy IV is not going to live up to the hype. To the critics, who are saying it's not good, and the people who are trying to convince me that critics are right.

I don't have a problem with Shia LaBeouf. I think he's a good actor and he was a good choice, and I've thought that since it was a rumor, so don't try to convince me it was something that grew on me because I'm excited.

I don't like the rumored alien angle, but I have faith that Spielberg and Ford pulled it off and Lucas didn't ruin it.

I don't think Ford is too old.

So what if it's a little bit cheesy. Did you forget all the humor in the first three? The fact that they made them for fun, after B-movies?

I think you're taking yourselves too seriously. I think YOU might be expecting too much, but I'm not. I usually disagree with anyway because you're trying to be a movie snob and I'm just trying to have fun.

So whether you like it or not, I'm probably going to have a lot of fun come Thursday. I bet it's lonely in your snobby ice-cave! I'm sorry you can't just sit back, take a chill pill, and enjoy the ride.

P.S.-- I know you're bitter that Spielberg's good at keeping secrets. =D

So, please. Stop telling me it's going to suck. Because I know it's highly unlkely I'm not going to have fun, and in the meantime you're just making me sick to my stomach because I'm too sensitive.

...I'm going to go watch the trailer again so I feel better. =)

I'm sitting on the fence with Shia till I see the movie. But I trust that he got the job cause he was the right one for it. And same with the alien bit.

Lol, I had a girl tell me that she couldn't wait to see the movie because she thinks "what's his name is so old, it should be funny to see how he does in this one."

I've liked Shia since Even Stevens. I think why is that he has the same sense of humor, sort of punchlines and sort of slapstick. Like... natural humor. Not forced, I guess, I dunno.

Wow, though... It would be funny to see how SHE did in his place. My bet's on "nowhere near as good". ;)

I've seen Holes (although I don't remember much about it), and obviously Transformers and Disturbia. I think he's a good actor. As far as his role in Indy, I'm going to wait and see. I'm sure he pulled it off great, but I don't like to judge till I see it myself.

Lol, definately nowhere near as good. She also mentioned she really wants to see it because Shia's hot.

Haha, I've only seen Transformers and Disturbia by pure coincidence. I didn't think they were too bad, but neither one was really my thing. (Although I love Rear Window! Which I didn't know Disturbia was based on until much later.) I liked Holes though. =)
