I just found out about the Wicked movie myself. They've already got the Winnie Holzman, the original scriptwriter, on board, so now they just need the original cast and a good director. http://movies.ign.com/articles/889/889797p1.html

As much as I would love to see it, I really doubt they will have the original cast. I think for a movie they will need actresses who, sad to say it, are younger than Idina and Kristin.
