The gravy train's a-comin'

The rolls are in the pan
And I ain't seen the turkey since 'bout ten AM
We're stuck here at the table... waitin' on that bird
But what we've got instead, well... it's a flamingo, lord.



Well we were mashing taters
And buttering the corn
And cooking green bean casserole and drinking from the horn
But I made a turkey hot shot... put it on some rye
And bring out the yam stories... people just roll their eyes.
