~~~~A Christmas Poem~~~~
Your stockings, t'were hung by the chimney with care,
So when Santa came down, they brushed in his hair?
Were there lights on your tree that was topped with a star?
Had you a manger, but not yet kings from afar?
Nice presents, wrapped up in paper and bows?
On television, the fav'rite Yuletide shows?
Elf, Rudolph, Frosty, the Grinch,
while watching them, Christmas Cheer must be a cinch!
Were there cookies for Santa, and a small glass of milk?
Mistletoe hung from ribbons of expensive silk?
Snow on the fields that shone under the moon?
Colors dazzle by thousands, while the carolers croon?
Icicles hung with such care by Jack Frost,
All things in their home, not one wandering lost?
Halls decked with holly while one star shone bright,
Remember you Jesus, on this cold Christmas Night?
