More reasons for why I had a weirder childhood than I first always think:
Ernie Kovacks and all the older movies my family watched. Seriously, we rarely watched new movies unless they were Disney or something, and we never had cable. So... Marx Brothers plus musicals plus Ernie Kovacks (whom my friends find too obscure to watch, simply because it's OLD humor) has led to me being weird.
And now that I think about it, Hitchhiker's Guide and The Seven Faces of Dr. Lao, as well.
