Haha, I completely forgot about this last week (or whenever it was):
After we saw Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, I was thinking about how the main character, Delysia Foss, has changed her name to be more stylish, from Sarah Grubb. I mean, I can see why she did it, but the name "Delysia" is rather over-the-top. But anyway, I was just thinking that it was nicely unique, has that nice "d" sound, and reflected upon the fact that my roommate has an equally nicely unique while not being slightly absurd name, Demyla. (In general she goes by Myla, though.) And then, as quickly as thoughts go, it went something like this: "I wish I had a nice unique name like that.
..."Wait, my name's Diane. Moron."
Sometimes, I amaze myself.
