The Daily Adventures of Mercat

Yeah, so, quick blog post before bed... (I have like three way too long ones waiting, of course... typical me... I should be able to post them tomorrow.)

Anyway, I just saw The Prestige. Fucking amazing movie, let me tell you. (It doesn't help that the first, I dunno, ten minutes or so, you sit there going, "Batman! Wolverine! Gollum! And omgthebadguyfromRobinHoodMenInTights!" Yeeeeah. And then DAVID BOWIE LOL.)

Aaaanyway. So... fall of sophomore year, when we watched Dude Where's My Car at Franzie's house. I was soooo frustrated because about a half an hour into the movie Cayman announced that he had figured out the plot.

...Have I...not... ever mentioned I'm obsessed with mysteries before?

Anyway... then halfway through The Prestige I figured it out. They had that one tell I've been recognizing lately in mysteries. And I saw it.

AND OH MY GOD. I feel like such s fucking jerk! I figured out the plot, and most everyone else in the room was thoroughly confused!

So now I'm that jerk... I'm proud that I figured out the plot... but I feel like a total jerk.

Man.

But anyway, it's a really good movie and all y'all should see it!
