Yep, late again. Still working on this damn reinforced concrete footing design spreadsheet. THRILLING, I KNOW.

Hilarious: watching Australia before or after watching VanHelsing. Also, Nicole Kidman kind of bothers me in this movie.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT NOT AGAIN. It says they did it to Phantom in '09 (?) but I don't recall off the top of my head. (Then again, Red Violin... nobody cared? I didn't say that, haha) There's a strong wave of response to this on my facebook. Is Troop responsible for the video rights? Is DCI? No one seems to know. Anyway, this is CRAP. However, they still have the music rights, so... buy the mp3, rip the video, mash them together. The worst part about the stupid thing is, though, that I'm pretty sure Wanted is the song they didn't get rights to. Which means: no intro, no outro, AND NO CLOSER COMPANY FRONT. Goddamn that's ridiculous.

I'm also a little depressed because just a few days ago my wall was a flood of people registering for camps and buying plane tickets. I miss everyone dearly. I'm starting to wonder how crazy the scene is in Japan, maybe march a summer there or something, huh? That would be crazygonuts awesome. (March with Tatsu and Aya? haha)

ANYWAY, once again, two days worth of prompts while I procrastinate on my other homework some more:

My closest friends... I have a lot. People from high school, college roomies, and corps people. I'll keep it simple for the sake of people's sanity. (Roughly 850 facebook friends ensures this is not a simple answer.)

Three favorite colors? ALSO A LOT. Haha. Generally I lean towards (surprise!) really bright colors, but I also lean towards blue, green, and purple. And then orange, and also pink, and in particular any of these colors with gray tones. Classy.

So, yes, I just realized and now finally appreciate the irony of posting about "vajazzling" with glitter text. Yeah.


The era of boundless imagination in dinosaur colors is dead. But seriously, this is kind of awesome. I will, however, miss all the neon colored dinosaurs and the dreams that they could be legitimate! Although, one could argue that those dreams are still possible for those dinosaurs which did not have proto-feathers from which we can extract color clues. Here, have some mo' peekchures.


I feel like this week has been full of political/social fail. It's incredibly depressing. Things like this only do so much.

...Just let it sink in that these people actually believe this and exist. Yeah, that's what I thought.


THIS POEM IS FUCKING RIDICULOUS. And either 1) I'm pronouncing some words wrong, 2) It was written by someone with a distinctly different accent than mine, or 3) they pronounce some words wrong. IDK. I can say "Worchester" in the proper Brit way, though, tyvm.

This is a sad ending to my week. =/

However, THIS SHIP IS FUCKING AWESOME.



Also, the video seems to be down, but they're starting a play/movie/webseries of the Prop 8 trial. If you haven't been following it... Holy shit, is it ever a farce.

I don't think I can facepalm any more this week.

Yeah, so I still have this overly massive post sitting around, just waiting for me to get to... it's still going to be awhile.

So I missed Billy Joel singing the National Anthem in order to buy cool whip... ='(

And the commercials this year suck! What the hell, they're all serious or slutty. There's been about five good ones. FedEx and Budweiser. Sad. Oh, and the coke one with the anti-violent-video-game.

But halftime? That was unexpectedly good. I mean, Prince isn't great or anything... but he was wearing a turquoise and orange suit set, which was amazing. In case you didn't know, that's another set of my favorite colors. (There are these awesome skis, they're like five years old, and they're turquoise and orange. I <3 them.) Sooo... yeah. And then Florida A&M? I even knew it was them by uniform color! And their uniforms LIT UP. How awesome is that? They made Prince's last number (whatever it was) sound fucking AMAZING. (Although the one kid who adjusted his hat on national TV... shame on you!)

So, yeah. Turquoise and orange awesome, commercials not so much.

But what I really want to do is find a video or picture or SOMETHING from the 1995 halftime! It was Indiana Jones! I mean, honestly, how cool is that?! Seriously. With Arturo Sandoval and the Miami Sound Machine? I mean hells yes. =D

Oh, so yesterday I also decided that a sweet name is Hawaiiana Jones. =) I grabbed the screen name so no one else could, but I don't really plan on using it too much.

So yes, that's my "it was pretty lame" Superbowl update. Oh, America. =^n.n^=

AWW... so just as I was about to post this, they had an adorable Budweiser commerical! The crab one. That was a good one. =)
