Feb. 17th, 2009 10:39 pmWell, they didn't get the shipment of laptops in. Boo.
However, I started working on my personal wiki today, which I am really excited about. I feel like I finally stumbled on a good way to organize reference links for myself, organize project notes, that sort of thing. I'm debating whether or not I want to include things that are personally important to me, sort of an extension of my blog, or just leave it for personal reference. I don't know... I mean, for example, mom and I were trying to remember all the words to Dr. Seuss' ABC's today (we used to have the whole thing memorized). Is that something I should build a page for? I mean, I don't need to know that, and there's not much else I could put there. So... I dunno.
Thoughts? Anyone else use a personal wiki to get organized?
I'm kind of addicted now, even though it's a pain in the ass to change visual things and there's no way to visually separate the table of contents from the rest of the page. Fnargl.
Also there's no complete way of organizing links by tags... But I can get pretty close. And if not, I can always throw some words in the description and search for them later, hopefully that should work.
